What you pay for a name
The number on a WebProperty Markets card is the desk fee. Most cards are $150. A few run higher when the name already carries more age or more sites linking in. That fee is the work to review the name, confirm it is still available, acquire it, and move it into your registrar account.
The quote can have a second line
Some names cost more to bring in than the desk fee. The team emails both numbers before you pay: the desk fee, then any extra to secure that specific name. If you asked for Launch or Managed, those are their own lines. If the total is too high, say no. The form did not charge a card.
What you are not buying on the card
The desk fee is not a finished website. It is not hosting. It is not a parked page you are stuck with. A custom site, hosting, and ongoing work are Launch and Managed, quoted after you request them.
What can still show up after transfer
Your registrar may charge a transfer or a renewal year under that registrar’s own price list. A 60-day lock can keep the name at the first registrar for a while. That is normal transfer paperwork, not a surprise add-on from this desk.
