A domain vs a developed site

A domain in your registrar account is a receipt. A developed site is a thing people can use. Those are not the same purchase.

Expired-name buyers often pay for age, a short string, or leftover links, then cheap out on the rebuild. Domain Name Wire has spent years showing what happens next: the high-priced drops that used to be real businesses often get 301’d to casino affiliates. The name still looks clever. The search history dies.

Parking can make sense if you are holding a brandable for resale. It does not make sense if you paid for pageviews. If the listing shows traffic or referring domains, the work after transfer is a real site in that topic, put up quickly, not a foreign gambling lander.

This shop sells the name and the transfer. Building the site is a separate job. Read how a request and transfer work.
